Looks like Atlanta is bracing for another snow storm, which means everything is shut down or closed for the day! That means I get to stay in and work on the blog for you all.
The other day, I attended a birthday brunch for Kiwi the Beauty. I’m beginning to experiment with adding more elements to my outfits, so this was the perfect time to try something simple. Now once I learn how to layer and mix prints, you can’t tell me NOTHING!
Let’s move on to the outfit, shall we? I was going for a simple, classy, vintage glam feel. This ensemble is waaaaaay more inexpensive than it looks!
Dress: Value Village- $6.50
Fascinator: My local beauty supply store- $10
Gloves: Beauty supply store- $5
The following items were purchased last year, but I’ll tell you where they’re from:
Shoes: Shoe Land- $25
Magazine Clutch: Ciao Bella Boutique- $25
Total Cost (minus the shoes and clutch): $21.50!
Could you tell that my dress was thrifted and the accessories were from the beauty supply store? Not unless I told you! Listen, you really don’t have to go overboard with spending to look amazing. If you see something nice (and reasonably priced), purchase it and rock it. You can live and look FLYY…FRUGALLY!
